ACTIVITY DESCRIPTIONS:
Ice Cream Pint Making: Guests mix toppings into their ice cream base of choice to create their own flavour. Include colouring label activity for their pint box and additional mini cup of ice cream to enjoy at the party.
Sprinkle/Candy Bar: Guests choose and fill a mini container with sprinkles and candies to create a signature blend. Comes packaged with a keepsake ice cream bowl and spoon-- perfect party favor!
Cotton Candy Spinning: Live cotton candy spinning in front of guests where they choose from two flavours of sugars. Each guest will receive a cotton candy spun just for them.
Lip Gloss Lab Upgrade: Guests choose pigments, glitters and flavours to create their very own lip gloss packaged in an adorable popsicle container. Can be added to any of our packages for extra glam fun, just ask for the glam upgrade!

What do the guests do at your parties?
During your ice cream making party, guests will create their very own custom ice cream pint (choosing mix-ins and folding them into their ice cream on our cold plate machine), colour the box label and bring home their creation! They’ll also get to eat some yummy ice cream at the party as we always make an extra mini cup to enjoy at the shop—full pint is what they go home with. We have additional sweet activities, see packages for more details.
How much does a party cost?
There are three packages to choose from (please see packages section above) which have a price per guest and guest minimum. Please note that all parties have a $390 (before tax) minimum spend. Should your guest count fall below the minimum spend you will be able to choose extra pints or activities to meet the minimum so nothing goes to waste. We include all setup, clean up, and dedicated staffing!
Do you have extra decor available?
A balloon garland can be added a la carte at an additional $180 plus taxes.
How many guests can you accommodate?
We recommend a max of 14-15 participants.
How do I book a party?
Select a location (Corydon or Johnston Terminal) click on the calendar and choose an available date and time slot. Secure your party reservation by placing a non-refundable deposit online. Following the deposit receipt, our party planner will contact you to confirm your chosen activities and preferences, providing a comprehensive quote for your complete package. Where are your parties held?
Our parties take place inside our shops at 651 Corydon Avenue in Winnipeg OR AT OUR
NEW Johnston Terminal location--NOW ACCEPTING PARTY BOOKINGS! When booking your party on our online calendar, please note which location you are booking for (either Corydon OR Johnston Terminal).
How long are your parties?
Our parties last for approximately 2 hours. We aim to allocate some time towards the end of the party for the opening of presents and farewells.
Are your parties just for birthdays and kids?
Although we pride ourselves on being one of the best venues for kid's birthday parties in Winnipeg, we do host other events as well. If you're a fan of ice cream and sweets, our parties are a perfect fit for enthusiasts of all ages! We've successfully hosted gatherings for mom groups, staff appreciations, team-building events, and more. If you have a unique idea in mind, send us an email, and let us assist you in planning a special and sweet get-together! We recommend our parties for ages 5+.
Can we arrive early?
Please arrive up to 15 minutes before your scheduled party start time. However, we kindly request that you do not arrive earlier than 15 minutes prior to your party start time. Our staff conducts procedures beforehand, and arriving too early may result in a wait before we can fully accommodate you..
What do I need to bring?
Many hosts choose to bring in pizza or other light foods for lunch for their guests. Just inform us in advance, and we'll arrange plates and napkins for the setup. Please note any food brought into our shop for guest consumption must be produced in a commercial kitchen.
Can I bring my own additional activities?
We kindly request that you do not bring in additional activities to our party bookings.
Can I bring food or drinks?
While we welcome you to bring in a cake or cupcakes from a commercial bakery if you wish, please note that we currently do not permit outside food or drink that is readily available for purchase at our shop. Kindly inform us in advance if you plan to bring any outside food or drink, allowing for pre-approval and smooth coordination.
Can I bring my own decor?
You are welcome to bring helium balloons, provided they are securely attached to a balloon weight. Our policies do not allow attaching balloons or decor to our walls or backdrop.
Can adults stay for the party?
We recommend 1-3 hosting adults stay for the party and drop off for guests as space and seating is limited. If you have some parent's of guests that would like to stay, please be advised it may be standing room only for adults. A minimum of one adult host must remain on-site to supervise the children during the party. Our team is here to facilitate activities, but we do not provide childcare or direct supervision.
What if our guest count changes?
We will check in with you closer to your party date to confirm final guest count. If your guest count changes on the event date, your balance will be updated and you will only be charged for the guests that attend provided you meet the party booking minimum.
What is your cancellation policy?
To secure your requested event date, we require a non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance becomes due at the end of the party, and this balance alone is refundable if Milksmith Inc. receives written notice of cancellation more than 14 days prior to the event date. If we are unable to perform services, an alternative date will be rescheduled based on availability within the same contracted year.
